A Noble deed...
"Do not turn away a poor man...even if all you can give is half a date. If you love the poor and bring them near you Allah will bring you near HIM on the day of Resurrection."

My Dream
I have a dream… My name is Rabia. I am 9 years
old. I live in a small cottage, which is made up of old and broken bricks. We
are four siblings. My father works as a labor. My mother is a housewife. I wish
we were also rich as many other people around us. I always think how beautiful
the life is if we also have money to buy things that will be the cause of
happiness. People say money cannot buy happiness I agree with them but at least
money makes the misery easier to live. Can people understand our
position????
We are living in such a house where there is
always a fear that, any of the wall would fall over us, or maybe there is a
storm at night and destroy us completely.
I wish we could eat meal
tomorrow, or my daddy bought a doll for me. I wish that when I wake up one day,
I saw that everything is changed. I feel a comfortable mattress. I have beautiful
clothes. My wardrobe is full with different dresses of different colors and
shoes and dolls. I wish I could have a bag with books and my mom call me that
Rabia hurry up your school van is waiting for you and I’b like coming mama and
like thousands of other children I could go to school and get a star on my face
from my teacher.
I have a Dream I go to school. I wish I
could….Someone says dream is the seed of possibility, it is the key to your
aspiring future but what can I do that my parents do not have sufficient money
to provide me education. Is it my fault? My parents faults? How can I demand
them to provide me school bag and teach me at a good school while we do not
have enough money to take meal even three times a day? What can I do in such a
condition?
I wish......
